JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAINJAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN (JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN)
JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN
Considered the best in the world, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is grown at high altitudes. The higher the altitude, the denser the coffee bean, resulting in a richer flavor.
In eastern Jamaica, it rains frequently and is cool and foggy, with rainbows often appearing over the hills. The trees that preserve the rainforest provide shade that delays the ripening of the coffee cherries, contributing to the unique character and sweetness of this specialty.
This coffee is Jamaica Blue Mountain Grade 1, the highest grade available.
It is the only coffee that is transported around the world in hand-made wooden barrels, unlike the common burlap sacks used for all other coffees.
